Academy Of Kempo Martial Arts
The holidays are approaching and they will be here sooner than we expect. Along with the holidays comes cold weather. There are many people who have very limited resources available to them and they rely on outside help to survive these somewhat difficult times. The food pantries as well as soup kitchens need as much support as they can get.
The Academy of Kempo Martial Arts in Hamden is holding its annual food drive to help the local food pantry and soup kitchen. The Academy is offering its students a free semi-private lesson for any five non-perishable items they donate and offering two weeks of free lessons to non-students (limited to one give away per person and can not be combined). The Academy is hoping that this will encourage more people to give, and of course if you wish to give without accepting the offer that is also encouraged. The Academy of Kempo would like to thank those who help out of the kindness of their hearts.
The Academy of Kempo Martial Arts is accepting donations now through the holiday season, at 1890 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden Connecticut, 06514. You can also contact the Academy by phone at (203) 288-9990, or look them up on the web at www.academyofkempo.com to find out what are the best times to drop off your donations and receive your gift.
