The Ciarleglio family dropped off more than 950 craft kits, books and art supplies that were collected during the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts' "Help a Child Initiative." The major contributors were Kempo students and their families, and S&S Worldwide in Colchester. The "Help a Child Initiative" collects arts and crafts materials for children for the Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer and the Child Life Specialist-Pediatric Specialty Clinic at the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. Also, 46 boxes of paper, which were donated by Herlin Press of West Haven, were dropped off. For more information, visit www.academyofkempo.com.
